🎉Join us in Celebrating Mr. Greg! 🎉

In his classroom, real-world learning comes to life every single day. From hands-on wood-working projects 🪵🔨 to sewing lessons that build creativity and independence 🧵🪡, he creates opportunities for interns to learn practical skills in meaningful ways. These aren’t just activities—they’re confidence-building experiences that prepare interns for life beyond the classroom.

He has a gift for coming up with creative ideas that no one else would even think of, turning everyday lessons into engaging, real-world simulations that help interns thrive. 💡🎉

His passion, innovation, and dedication to teaching life skills make a lasting impact on his interns and our entire program. We are so lucky to have such a talented and forward-thinking educator on our team! 👏🍎

Meet Mr. Greg
🌟 Our Project SEARCH interns have been busy making big things happen — both at the hospital and out in the community! 🌟
Thanks to Oklahoma CareerTech, our interns got to explore 11 different careers using virtual reality headsets. It was amazing watching all four interns “work” in four totally different VR job experiences — all at the same time, in the same room! 🤯💼✨

We also hosted our annual Open House Information Night, where interns proudly shared their favorite parts of Project SEARCH along with the job tasks they enjoy most. Their confidence and growth shine brighter every year! 💬👏

And if that wasn’t enough excitement, we spent time volunteering at the zoo — and yes, we spotted so many adorable baby animals! 🐾🦒🐧

We are so proud of our interns and all the hands-on learning they’re embracing this year. 💙

Meet Stephanie, Skills Trainer at Project Search
🌟Project SEARCH interns attended the Oklahoma Transition Institute(OTI) Conference. For the second year now, OTI has offered session tracks for businesses, families, professionals and youth. The four Project SEARCH interns along with their Instructor and Skills Trainer attended motivating and critical sessions. These sessions provide opportunities to learn about resources and services that support youth with disabilities as well as education in this field. The Interns made new friends, saw many faces they know from several agencies who support them and networked while visiting vendor tables. The interns met the conference keynote speaker, LeDerick Horne, during a youth oriented session and participated in an activity called Finding your Voice/ Planning for your Future. Mr. Horne shared his struggles growing up with a disability and how various people and resources helped him get to where he is today. 👌

✨Great Job representing EPS and Project SEARCH!👏

The Project SEARCH interns participated in a variety of activities during the Month of October. At the beginning of the month, the interns attended a Career Fair where they asked questions at the vendor tables to learn about the business and what positions were open. They came home with a lot of swag!

Interns were invited to assist the staff at Integris Health Edmond with decorating for the annual event- Haunt the Hospital. 🦇👻🦄👽
