Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Oct. 10th and Oct. 14th from 3:30pm - 7:00pm. Conferences times are not scheduled, so attend the day and time that works best for your schedule. The Scholastic Book fair will be open during conferences if you would like to shop with your student. We hope to see you there!
The first Fun Food Friday of the year is this Friday, Oct. 4th! Students may bring money to purchase snacks during Advisory. Items will be priced at $1 to $2.
Picture Retake Day is Oct. 4th! All students need to have their picture made, so if you were absent on picture day you will have your picture taken on retake day. Students that purchased pictures and would like a retake need to bring their picture packet with them on retake day. Students that did not purchase pictures and would like a retake need to bring their proof card with them on retake day.

Auditions for the school play are quickly approaching! Students interested auditioning must be eligible in all classes, able to attend daily rehearsals until 5:00pm, and audition in Room 111 on either September 12th or 13th from 2:30pm-4:00pm. Students should direct any questions about the school play to Mrs. Burkhart in Room 111.
Help support Summit classrooms and students by participating in our school fundraiser! Packets will be sent home with students on Sept. 4th, and all students have the opportunity to receive a prize for participating! Students can sign up using the QR code and entering group code SUMM28 or by texting SUMM28 to 74590. Items will be delivered on Oct. 10th, which is one of our Parent/Teacher Conference Days!

Eagles will begin their week with Aimsweb Fall Benchmark testing in reading and math. Students need to charge their chromebooks and are allowed to bring headphones to use if they would like. The reading test will be held on Monday, August 26th , and the math test will follow on Tuesday, August 27th.
Join us on August 26th from 6-8pm for Open House! You will have the opportunity to meet your student's teachers and hear more information about the classes your student is taking this semester. We hope you will be able to attend this informative event!

Doors open at 7:10 am, school starts at 7:40 am, and school ends at 2:20 pm.
Wolf Wars is a fun way to celebrate the start of school! Gates open at 8:00am and tickets are just $5 per person. Enjoy food trucks, a bounce house, Kona Ice, community booths, and free games while you cheer on our Summit Eagles when they take the field at 10:00am! Go Eagles!

Aug 10th from 8:00am - 11:00am and
Aug 13th from 4:00pm -7:00pm
The following must be completed in order to receive your student's digital schedule for the 2024-2025 school year: complete annual update, submit Tdap records (incoming 7th grade), all 2023-2024 school fines paid, and submit a July/August utility bill to summit.middleschool@edmondschools.net.

1. Do we need to bring school supplies? No, your student can bring those on the first day of school.
2. What should my student wear? Comfortable clothing and shoes! We will be playing games and walking around the school.
3. Where is the parent meeting? We will meet with new-to-Summit families in the cafeteria at 6pm.
4. What is Camp Summit? A FUN opportunity for your student to meet other students and teachers! We will talk through the Eagle Essentials and what to do on the first day of school. You don't want to miss it!
